Water testing is essential for various reasons

  • Identifying contaminants: Water can be contaminated with a variety of substances, including bacteria, viruses, chemicals, and minerals. Some of these contaminants can cause severe health problems, such as diarrhea, vomiting, and even death.

  • Ensuring compliance with regulations: In many places, there are regulations that specify what levels of contaminants are allowed in drinking water. Water testing can help you ensure that your water is safe to drink and meets all applicable regulations.

  • Protecting your health: If you have any concerns about the safety of your water, it’s important to have it tested. This is especially important if you are pregnant, have young children, or have a weakened immune system.

Water is vital for survival. However, it’s crucial to ensure that the water you consume is safe. Water testing is the process of analyzing water to identify and measure the presence of contaminants. This can assist you in recognizing potential health risks and taking actions to protect yourself and your loved ones.

RESIDENTIAL INSPECTIONS

If you’re planning on buying or selling a home, then hiring a home inspector could save you thousands of dollars. It will also help you understand the property you want to buy and the possible defects. For sellers, it can provide insight into a home to know what to expect and can make repairs before listing a property.

NEW CONSTRUCTION INSPECTIONS

Newly constructed homes need an objective third-party to inspect. The city or county inspectors often don’t catch everything, but we’ve been trained to have a keen eye for anything that could compromise a new home’s lifetime or safety.

COMMERCIAL INSPECTIONS

This type of inspection is required by law in most states. Whether you’re looking for a quick turnaround or a comprehensive inspection, our certified property inspectors are ready to serve you.

Commercial buildings need inspections just like any other type of property, so call us today to set up yours!

Other Inspections We Offer

Prices may vary based on size of property, location and other factors. Give us a call to receive your customized quote!

Mold Testing

We will do a walkthrough inspection of the home to determine where the most likely place for mold to be is and we will either do a swab, air sampling, or both and send the samples off to the lab for analysis.

Meet Your Inspector

Kurvin Gordon

With over 23 years of construction experience, Ugly Duckling Inspections is here to provide superior service and knowledgeable advice that helps achieve the real estate goals of our clients throughout the Williamette valley.

Our founder’s first summer job was working in construction at 15. Growing in knowledge and skill he builds his first company at 23 building custom tradeshow booths. His second company was a test of business acumen building custom homes in Pinedale Wy during the “great recession”.

Pursuing his passion of giving back to the community, he helped the residents of Idaho and Texas navigate large-scale disasters and emergencies. When his mission was finished he took that dedication and build a multi-faceted company in Texas that serviced all aspects of home buying and investing.

Kurvin brings that same passion and dedication to Ugly Duckling Inspections. Building a team of highly skilled inspectors that help homeowners, or soon-to-be, maintain and grow their biggest assets, their home.

“I help them turn Ugly Ducklings into Swans.”
